I never thought I'd see the day when a commissioned US Navy vessel would ever change its name. The woefully under-qualified "Secretary of Defense" Whiskey Pete Hegseth announced that they would be removing the names of the Navy logistic command vessels, the USNS Harvey Milk, the USNS Edgar Meadows, and the USNS Harriet Tubman, and changing the names to unselected white historical figures.
The same week, Donald Trump publicly announced at Fort Bragg that he would change the names of all of the US bases back to the disloyal Confederate officers who broke their oath to the Constitution to preserve slavery.
Trump seemed very pleased that multiple bases named for modern Medal of Honor winners and unrecognized heroes would soon be back under the banner of traitors who not only owned slaves but also caused their men to be slaughtered by a loyal US Army. What the actual fuck is going on here?
