Top Secret Story time: A Code of Honor

Everyone once in a very great while someone steps up and changes the world. One of my personal heroes who wore a bathrobe while saving the world from a literal Evil Empire.

Once a week or on special occasions I, or a guest host will regale my subscribers with a story that comes from the spy world. Principally those in which we were either peripherally or directly involved and will run from the mundane to the exciting and dangerous. The difference is that they are what it is really like.  It ain’t James Bond or Jason Bourne. Of course, I won’t reveal any actual classified information or give out secrets but you will certainly be able to gain a glimpse of the way the REAL people who are actively involved in the intelligence world study, think and behave. More importantly you will understand that the stories you will hear show the honor of our service, and why the lack of recognition, or praise does not bother us. Maintaining the dignity of our service is self satisfying. There may not be any money in this job, but you will learn a fantastic amount of history and get to tell some great stories, generally alone, in a bathrobe, at home, to your dog.
