Almost every day on the campaign trail, Donald Trump said he would end the war in Ukraine in just 24 hours.
Once Trump entered the Oval Office, no one expected him to end the 3 1/2 year war quickly. But Trump had different ideas. The first thing he did was secretly cut off Ukraine from US weapons and intelligence to weaken them and pay attention to Trump’s proposals. Trump ordered Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the Oval Office for the infamous ambush where Trump and Vice President JD Vance berated a man who is seen as this century’s Churchill. Why? Because he was defending his people and homeland against Trumps natural ally, Putin. Trump demanded the return of $360 billion, more than double the amount of America’s donated money and equipment.
