Are We At War With Iran? Yes, No, Maybe.

On June 15, 2025 Israeli Media issued reports stating that the United States was launching airstrikes against Iran. For a few hours the world held its breath wondering where the blows would land. However, a wide range of news reports seem to both confirm and refute that very simple assertion. What exactly is going on? How could we explain away? Very credible reports coming out of Israel. At the same time the air attacks by Israel seemed to stop over the skies of Iran according to eyewitnesses on the ground, who spoke to me from Tehran.

Add to this a series of very credible reports that over 28 in-flight refueling tanker aircraft deployed from the United States two bases in England, Spain, and Germany, and one could reasonably assume that the USA was preparing to attack.

By the end of a 24 hour series of flops, flips and backflips, Trump is going to war as "the Peace President.” However, like everything he does he absolutely has no idea what he is doing. He was boxed in by Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu who struck Iran right before his big beautiful nuclear deal could be consummated … now he has to appear strong no matter what the cost.

That cost and the consequences of it will change the lives of each of you.

Donald Trump was attending the G7 summit in Canada when he abruptly departed. As usual, he left a trail of mayhem and confusion in his wake after issuing a series of warnings to the people of Iran to "evacuate immediately" the capital city of Tehran. This city has a population of nearly ten million people. The shockingly bizarre comment stunned watchers, myself included. In any other circumstance, a quote like this from an American president would mean that nuclear annihilation of the city was eminent. In fact, there's almost no risk for the population if they are not Iranian revolutionary guard, core members or senior leaders.

Let’s stipulate some things, the United States would not just randomly drop bombs in the city mainly because our potential military and nuclear related targets are nowhere near there. The secretive Fordow site is south of the city near the holy city of Qom, about 2 hours drive. The Natanz underground nuclear complex is further on, over 200 miles (320km) south of the capital. On a good day that’s a 4 hour drive.

Let us not forget how we got here. Trump withdrew from the JCPOA, the Obama era agreement that stopped Iran from enriching Uranium. By tearing top that agreement in 2018 Trump gave Iran permission enrich all the uranium to bomb grade they wanted. Now this has given Netanyahu the chance to attack Iran that he has been waiting for since 2001.

Trump soon began calling for Iran to surrender, and to “complete[ly] give-up.” In all caps he would demand Iran’s nuclear program would be eliminated soon followed up by pleas for Iran to negotiate. Trump kept this schizophrenic messaging up all night. In the end he pulled a full TACO (Trump Always Chickens Out). Trump offered to keep meetings for a final nuclear deal with Iran on the table and delay bombing Iran. in the same breath he threatened the lives of the entire population of Tehran.

Soon after someone with a calmer head, got Trump to retract that evacuation statement. He delete the tweet, but the damage was already done. Trump came off as weak, confused and unserious, but at the same time B2 bombers were straining at the lease waiting to be let free to destroying a nuclear weapons complex.

By daylight after the G7 summit he went back to his hardline and put Iran into a box that could have been written by Tom Clancy. He wrote on Truth Social “We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding … He is an easy target, but is safe there - We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now.”

He then ended his missive with an all caps: ‘UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER.”

However, Israel has many resources to damage the Natanz and Fordow nuclear bunker complexes, but they do not have the heavy bombs that can penetrate them to destroy them once and for all. Only the US has this capability.

The BLU-57A 30,000 lb deep bunker busting Massive Ordnance Penetrator bomb can only be carried on the B-2 Spirit bombers deployed to our base in Diego Garcia and that fly non-stop from Whitman Airbase in Missouri. Hence the mass of inflight refueling tankers flying to Europe which would fuel them on the way to Iran.

Please note this weapon is as big as the single largest bomb dropped in World War 2, the 12,000 lb Tall Boy “Earthquake” bomb.

When asked by The Atlantic Michael Scherer about disappointing MAGA loyalists that he would be the Peace President he bristled and replied “For those people who say they want peace — you can’t have peace if Iran has a nuclear weapon. So for all of those wonderful people who don’t want to do anything about Iran having a nuclear weapon — that’s not peace.”

NOW READ THIS: THE US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee sent Trump a private message and invoked God’s will to hint that Trump should make a decision about Iran that hasn’t been made since Harry Truman.

I shit you not, he invoked Truman … whose decision was to nuke the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Intelligence Analysis: THIS IS JUST FUCKING CRAZY.

All that’s left to do is for Trump to pull the trigger … and he will, because he hates being seen as weak and Israel has put him into box that only allows him to attack. Iran won’t accept any form of humiliation or surrender. What they will do is leverage the one strength America or Israel cannot stop and that is their ability attack the Gulf States and close the Strait of Hormuz. That would create enormous economic pressure on America to stop Israel from attacking. Most of the oil leaving the Persian/Arabian Gulf goes to Asia and $10 per gallon gasoline in the United States would secure Trump’s legacy as the biggest screwball in modern history … and destroy the global economy.
