I want an audit too, my Dad is convinced something is not right...he is a much less suspicious soul than I..

This weekend I visited the gravesite of another American hero, Isadore Greenbaum. He's the guy who ran onstage at Madison Square Garden in 1939 during the American Bund rally of Nazis, probably the only Jew in the cheering crowd of 22,000 that filled the venue. He got beaten by American stormtroopers in Nazi uniforms while trying to take the microphone away from the speaker. Oddly enough, John Wayne, an actor who played heroes in the movies is buried in the same cemetary (close to Fashion Island in Corona del Mar, California). Pop Quiz. One of these men was awarded both the Congressional Gold Medal and the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Guess which one. This graveside visit actually helped me realize that the fight for America is really fought by people like Malcolm's Uncle Hank or a 26 year-old plumber's helper from Brooklyn and it's up to all of us, just ordinary people who may read Malcolm Nance's Special Intelligence blog, to have the courage and the stamina to keep up the fight.

A book I highly recommend is. "They Thought They Were Free: The Germans, 1933-45," by Milton Mayer, 1955.

A passage on page 171 of my paperback copy is of particular interest.

Thank you for your contribution.

Thank you Malcolm for sharing this story. Not sure how much this old lady can do but I’ll do what I can. Never thought I’d have to fight this fight at 73 but I don’t have any choice. Trying to pull myself together no matter how difficult it is. I’m with you.

God Bless You. We’re in this together.

And Malcolm I’ll just add something here. I am a widow. I lost my husband to Multiple Myeloma on January 20,2018. He had been fighting it since 2007 and had a stem cell transplant in 2010. Went into remission until 2017. I miss him every single day but for the first time I’m glad he’s not here to witness the felon winning. I wouldn’t want him to feel this way a second time.

Chief it was great reading this. As it always is whenever you go over your family’s service.

Because likewise my recently departed mother’s father had family that escaped slavery & joined Sherman here in NC, as my grandfather would serve in the South Pacific during World War II, as her mother, my incredible grandmother had to stand while riding segregated buses holding her firstborn. While my recently departed father would have great uncles in the Spanish-American war, & World War I(fighting under the French flag because of segregationists), while in World War II his father would become a bomber mechanic out of Tuskegee as one uncle would serve in the South Pacific as the other the Italian campaign.

There’s a lot to unpack in these stories, to which people can rightfully ask why waste time on a place that barely considers you human at times. Well to prove our haters wrong, to show them that they need to be humble, even when it takes something horrific to make them learn.

& this time around a lot more people are gonna have to learn this lesson again sadly the hard way when it comes to liars & con artists once again.

Just hopefully there won’t be ruins & ashes to get the point across.

Looked it up! He is a damned coward! Thinking of my father today who fought the Nazis and fascists so I will do everything I can to fight what we know is coming. My ancestors fled to America from Tyranny. We can’t let it end with this poltroon!

This is a perfect story for Veterans, or Armistice Day. It belongs in every classroom.

The story of your ancestors' fight for the unity of our democratic republic are such an inspiration. We can't give up. Here's a song Eliza Gilkyson wrote based on the letters home, preserved by her family, from her ancestor who fought in the American Revolution: https://youtu.be/s5UOydg66xo?feature=shared

Thank you for sharing your family's story. Given the threat of erasure of stories not aligned with the "ruling" narrative, it is more important than ever that we keep alive the Peoples' History.
