We Were Not Entertained: Biden Down But Not Out ... Yet.
Trump's Tidal Wave of Lies gave Biden's Poor Performance and Created an Opportunity ... But Will He Take It?

Let’s get two things straight. Donald Trump is a habitual liar. He hammered lies on immigration but had one thing that made some undecided lean toward him … a strong voice. I don’t know who let Joe Biden glad-hand his way into hoarseness. He should have rested two days before the event and made a point of coming in with a strong voice. But I am starting to believe the rumors that his campaign staff placed him in an insular bubble that keeps the truth from him. He was weak even though he had the best lines of the night, “You’re a Sucker and a Loser!” and “All the morals of an Alley Cat” would have been murderous in any other setting. Still, Biden is losing on the age factor; he looked it. But after the debate, he sounded strong and happy. Where the fuck was THAT Joe Biden an hour earlier?
Still, I’ll vote for Biden if he stays on the ticket, but damage control requires knowing when one has been hit and taking on water. The people who sounded strong and Commander-in-Chiefly after the debate were Kamala Harris and Gavin Newsom.
Maybe it’s time to step aside and let new blood galvanize the party. Last November, I tweeted about Biden retiring at Christmas and introducing the 47th President of the United States, Kamala Harris. You can take a look at it below. It was snark designed to destroy Trump 47 Merchandise sales, but there may be something to it. If Biden were to retire and introduce America to a new first female president, the nows would send shockwaves into history. As a former prosecutor, she’d murderize Trump in any setting as PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. Also, all his campaign merch would have to be repurchased as “48.”
I am ride or die for this ticket, and the debate was not so disastrous as to end American democracy, but now the stakes are even higher. If I were in this position, I’d let a natural, younger leader step up and go down in history as the president who saved democracy … and I’m 20 years younger than him.
All of the risks I enumerated yesterday are still on the table. But bold leadership may be best if the lion king passes the crown before the battle.
We shall see.
President Biden was compromised by having a cold (alleged).
Also, He was a bit overwhelmed, agape to respond to the cockwomble buttnuggets spewage of mendacity, as a thirsty child, baffled to find a way to get a sip of water from the blast of a fire hose
Last night I kept thinking what Biden says about the race, “ don’t compare me to the almighty, compare me instead to the alternative” but they both were abysmal. Of course we vote for Biden if he doesn’t step aside but last night’s disaster just turned the collective democratic panic level to an 11/10.
